Hi Its Brodie Lawson from cullivoe Primary school! Its been a while since i saw any of you-I remember when we all went to mid-yell for P.E and Swimming- I think your only pupil in primary is in the same class as me! I am VERY excited about going to high school!!!

Fetlar Primary
Just to apologise to anyone who has been waiting for their message to appear: We have been unable to access the update pages. Its all sorted out now.
As from July 1st 2010, when our last pupil leaves the school, the website will be updated less frequently.
The school is not closing. It is being 'mothballed' and will re-open when our current Nursery pupils are ready for Primary Education in Summer 2011. It will continue as a Nursery from August 2010 - July 2011.
If school age pupils return to the island during that year then the school will re-open. We're thinking of it as a 'gap year'.

We loved Fetlar when we came for the Hnefetafl World Championships last year. Sam won the Junior Championship but can't come back this year to defend his title . Do you know when the 2011 championships will be held? We all had such a brilliant time! We would love to live and work in such a beautiful place and with such lovely people. Your school looks fantastic, George is 13 and Sam is 12 so they would be at secondary school. They still love the outdoor life though. We are going camping in the Forest of Dean this weekend with our Golden Retriever dog called Toby. He is 9 years old. I hope you all enjoy your summer holidays!

Webmaster comments   Hello Judith. Can't say when Hnefatafl will be in 2011. Its July 31st this year though. The new Fetlar website: www.fetlar.org will have that information from Summer time onwards.
