Welcome to Fetlar Primary School!

Fetlar Primary School provides education for children from the ages of 3 up to 12 who live on the Island of Fetlar in Shetland. This comprises a Nursery facility for 3 - 5 year olds and a Primary School for pupils aged 5 - 12. After 1st July 2010 the school will operate as an early years facility until August 2011, when the nursery pupils will move into primary education. However, should a pupil of school age move into the island during 2010-11, primary education will again be provided.
Our logo depicts a Red-necked Phalarope in front of one of Fetlar's most obvious landmarks - the peninsula Lamb Hoga.
We can see Lamb Hoga from our classroom window.
Fetlar Primary is trying to be a green, environmentally friendly school.
